After School Hockey Program
Hockey Kidz Academy is an after-school club that focuses on teaching kids how to play street hockey. The club is designed to provide a fun and engaging environment where children can learn the fundamentals of street hockey, build their physical fitness, and develop teamwork and sportsmanship skills.
The program is open to kids of all skill levels and ages, and it is run by experienced coaches who are passionate about the game of hockey. At Hockey Kidz Academy, kids will learn how to handle the hockey stick, shoot, pass, and play different positions on the court. Through scrimmages and games, they will also have the opportunity to put their skills into action and compete against their peers.

Mites
5 - 8 years old (K-2nd)
Mite hockey is an exciting level that is perfect for kids between the ages of 5 to 8. Our program provides both safety and fun, so parents can be assured that their children are enjoying the game in a secure environment. We use specially designed soft sticks to ensure that the game stays safe, and we also have additional rules in place to keep the game at a controlled pace. Our main focus is to help our young players learn the fundamentals of the game so that they can develop their skills and abilities. At the same time, the program encourages the inner athlete in every student to shine, as they play with boundless energy and enthusiasm for the newly learned sport of hockey.

Squirts
8 - 11 years old (3rd-5th)
Squirt level hockey is an exciting time for 3rd-5th graders who want to learn challenging aspects of the game. They focus on mastering basics, pick up new skills and techniques, and have fun. Goalies are introduced, providing a well-rounded understanding of each player’s role. Scrimmages will also be played at this level to experience the full scope of the incredible game of street hockey!

Terrapins Roller Hockey Club
Terrapins Roller Hockey Club is a fantastic platform for young athletes who are passionate about the sport of roller hockey. It’s a great place for Hockey Kidz Academy students to develop their skills at the next level, where they can learn the ropes from experienced coaches and instructors. The club offers a moderately advanced level of hockey, where the focus is on helping players refine their technique and improve their game strategy.
With the club catering to multiple age groups, players are sure to find a suitable fit based on their individual skills and abilities. Plus, with the added bonus of tournament availability, players can utilize their skills and compete against other teams from around the region for an added level of competition and excitement. Terrapins Roller Hockey Club competes in tournaments such as NARCh, WIHA, Torhs, and the Echo Cup Series.
